Our Basic Pistol Safety & Knowledge class is recognized by New York State as fulfilling the training required to apply for a pistol permit. This is a class that introduces the fundamentals of handling a firearm and firearm safety which is needed in NY to apply for a pistol permit.
This course is 100% beginner friendly - even if you have never handled a firearm before. You do not need to own a gun to take this course. This course will be needed in order to apply for your NYS pistol permit.
